To be released on our joint label Verbier Festival Gold, we announce an album of Japanese pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii’s (Nobu) debut recital at the Verbier Festival in 2022.

Blind since birth, Nobu has captivated audiences worldwide since winning the Gold Medal at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2009. His performances are a profound testament to the power of music to transcend boundaries. At Verbier, the pianist delivers a dazzling program featuring Chopin’s Piano Sonata No. 2 alongside works by Liszt and Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. With a deep commitment to connecting with his audience, Nobu says, “I always aim to play for audiences to enjoy… my responsibility is the audience’s enjoyment."
