| Four Musketeers of Modern Music! by the Diotima String Quartet, the standard-bearers of modern music! The complete string quartets of Helmut Lachenmann, with whom they had a close relationship! A monumental album with a selection of people who could not have wished for more. Born in Stuttgart, the son of a pastor, Lachenmann had a normal and rich musical environment as a boy, including membership in the local boys’ choir. He studied at the Stuttgart College of Music under Johann Ponemc Dafitte (a self-proclaimed founder of 12-tone music, Hauer, and the founder of certified 12-tone music, Schoenberg, and a genius who was recognized in the “Directory of Geniuses” of the Third Reich, and a master educator born in 1895), and in 1957, he joined “Darmstadt” In 1957, he jumped into “Darmstadt” and was exposed to NONO, STOCKHAUSEN, POUSSEUR, ADORNO, SCHARCHEN, and others.
